# Delete your DecipherQ account

You can ask us to delete your DecipherQ account and the personal data linked to it at any time.

## How to request deletion

1. Email team@decipherq.com with the subject "Delete my DecipherQ account".
2. Send it from the email address you use to sign in to DecipherQ, and include the display name on your profile.
3. We may reply to confirm that the request came from you.

## How long it takes

Your account is deleted within 30 days of your request. We will email you when it is done.

## What we delete

- Your account: email address, password and display name
- Your settings: account size, risk per trade, watchlist, and alert and notification preferences
- The strategies you follow, and the buy and close prices you saved for them
- Your plan selection, and your disclaimer and onboarding records

## What we keep

Nothing that identifies you. Strategies published by the DecipherQ team stay in the app, because they are not your personal data.

After deletion you can no longer sign in, and your data cannot be recovered. You can create a new account later with the same email address.
